What to Do Before a Treatment 

Before your treatment, there are a few things you can do to prepare. First, store all food, including pet food, in cabinets, the refrigerator, or a pantry. Next, move all children’s toys, pet toys, pet bedding, pet food dishes, etcetera out of the area that will be treated. If possible, move all aquariums, cages and terrariums. If they cannot be moved, place a towel or blanket over them. Please also be sure that the treatment area is as free from clutter as possible. 

After treatment, wait for any sprays to dry before reentering the area. Between treatments, it is important to practice pest prevention. 

Are Recurring Treatments Important?

By and large, pests are not completely eradicated after a single visit from an exterminator. Most infestations require several treatments before the pests are gone, and even then, it is a good idea to receive routine treatments to keep them from coming back. Properties that develop a pest problem tend to do so because they are unusually vulnerable to those types of infestations. Once an infestation is gone, the pests will likely come back eventually unless they are stopped. The best way to keep the pests gone is through a recurring pest control plan, which includes routine treatments and implementing termite prevention tips and other prevention protocols. Residential Pest Control– This plan protects home, yard, and more from Ants (All Types), Spiders, Roaches, Mice, Rats, Bees, Hornets, Stink Bugs, Pantry Pests, Crickets, Silverfish, Wasps, Moths, Centipedes, Millipedes, Interior Fleas, Pill Bugs, Earwigs, Box Elder Bugs. Treatments will be scheduled so that they do not infringe on your or your family’s daily life.

Commercial Pest Control– Commercial plans protect businesses from the same pests listed in the Residential plan. Your treatment schedule will be tailored to your business hours. A few of the industries we serve are restaurants, property management, hospitality, retail, warehouses, schools and universities, and office buildings.

Termite Treatment and Control– Twin-Boro has been taking out termites for more than 40 years, and we don’t plan on stopping soon. We have refined our technique to a combination of bait stations and liquid treatments. Most work is done outdoors, but some indoor work may be necessary in the case of a severe infestation. Each year that you renew your termite control plan, bait stations and liquid applications will be replaced where needed. 

Mosquito, Flea, and Tick Control– This plan is designed to protect your backyard from three of the most common warm-weather pests. We use a barrier approach around the perimeter of your yard. Your property will be treated for these pests a total of 7 times between April and October.
